Here is one of the coolest ideas I have run across in a long while. I forget now where I heard about it but I have been using it for about a month and it is just fantastic. DailyLit is an email service that will email once a day an excerpt from the book of your choice. They have thousands of books to chose from and the service is one of the easiest things in the world to setup and use. If you are like me and spend more time in front of your computer than with the people in your life. Finding the time to read a book can be a challenge. DailyLit to the rescue. Looks like Hunter S. Thomson got a gun and ended it yesterday. He was 67 and one crazy guy. I read Fear and Loathing once, when I was a bit younger and have seen some of his other musings. He was out there and I am surprised he made it as long as he did? Men like that seem to take their own life much sooner. I mean come on, you made 67 years you can’t put in a couple of more, to see how it’s all going to turn out?

I don’t want to sound insensitive, too late, maybe he had an illness he didn’t want to face. If that was the case or hell if he just wanted to check out, props!
