Every time Will talks about this game I get more and more excited! It is now looking like we will get our first look next year.
South Park has been nominated for an Emmy this year for the World of Warcraft episode. South Park has been nomitnated many times over the years but has only won once in 2004.
I am big South Park fan. The boys and I still talk about the WOW episode. It is easily one of the best in the last 5 years. South Park has had a great couple of seasons. It still amazes me how fresh the writing continues to be and funny and relevant the show remains. The WOW episode is awesome but my personal favorite is the Go God Go episode. This is the one where Cartman is waiting for the Wii and freezes himself. Fucking classic!
I have included links so you can download and watch. Enjoy and happy Friday!

In the past I have talked in brief about my love of video games. I am male who grew up in the 80’s, so it should come as no surprise. Last week a story broke that was a shock to me. It seems, I may have yet another addiction to hash out with my therapist. Some wacky doctors seem to think if you dont eat, sleep, go outside, interact with people in real life or take breaks for the bathroom you may have a problem. Now my friends and I dont seem to understand what the hell they are talking about. This is normal activity, isn’t it?
Hello my name is Jim Kirks and I have a gaming problem. Do you think they will start prescribing drugs for this sort of thing?
Last month I purchased a Wii. I had been looking for a couple of months and Chuck finally found one at a local Game Stop. Since then we both have been playing the hell out of Wii Sports. So much so that Chuck actually pulled his back out a couple of weeks ago bowling. I have been lucky not to have any major injuries just a few mild aches and pains.
Last week I came across this article from Cnet about Wii Tennis, which is my favorite of the Wii sports games, and how you can really injure yourself. I think this could lead to a whole new field of sports medicine.

Looks like we will have to wait another eight to ten months for Will Wright’s new game Spore. Wright is famous for his other wildly popular game, The Sims. This new game, which has been in development for a number of years, builds on the Sims style of play. Instead of just micro managing a small house, this time you take on a whole race.
I am disappointed in the delay of this game. It was easily the most anticipated game of the year.

I have admitted to you in the past that I am a gamer. I go through spurts with gaming were I am either way too wrapped up in them. Or, I could careless and think they are a clausal waste of time. The later is rarely the case.
I am always looking for hardware that will make the games I play more enjoyable or help improve my performance. When PC gaming the keyboard and mouse are key. I am currently using a Razor mouse, which I love, and a Zboard keyboard, which is just ok.
When I read about Microsoft and Razor getting into bed with each other to make a keyboard, I was excited. I thought what a perfect partnership. Maybe these two power house companies could make that perfect gaming keyboard. To tell you the truth I am not exactly sure what makes the perfect gaming keyboard. I think it is, at least for me, a number of things. Most important is the layout of the keys. Looking for the no hand cramp keyboard.
It appears my excitement may be ill founded. I read a review yesterday on Extreme Tech that was less than favorable of the new MS/Razor Reclusa. Pretty much the same problems that have plagued many of the other manufactures. Bad key placement, not enough macro keys, lights that are either too bright, not bright enough or cannot be turned off. A hand full of other little things makes this keyboard yet another marginal entry. The end game for the Reclusa was not great and could barely hold its own against the Logitech G11/G15 (the market leader). I had a G15, it was horrible.
The hunt continues for me. Let me know what keyboard/mouse combo you use and why.

Nintendo admits they have a problem supplying the market with there next gen console. Big surprise! Occording to the article on cnet/gamespot, “nintendo under estimated the demand..” No shit? It goes on to say they are working hard to put more units into the market and we should start to see a Wii or two here and there in the next month.
I have been keeping my eye out for one of these little boxes of joy for the last two months and have come up short. I am really hopping to find one before mid summer. I want to bowl damn it!

Two SW blogs in a row, I know GEEK! Whether or not you are in to SW you will enjoy this little animation. Everything is made from lego’s and it is awesome!Lego Wars

Frogger on the web for free. It has been Flashed up and is just like the original, so much fun.
Happy leaping!

The man “Spielberg†is going to makes games?!?! Hard to believe but it looks as though Steven has signed a three gig deal with EA. According to Gamespot, he will not only have an office at EA but will be key in the development. I always had this idea in the back of my mind the gaming industry would go main stream; I had no idea it would be like this! Gamers of the world unite; we are almost not fridge geeks anymore? No, I will always be a geek, just more accepted?
