Yesterday I posted my first picture to Flickr in nearly three weeks. This is the first step back for me to my social media world. Over the last couple of weeks Flickr is the one service that I have really missedl. I love the ability to post a picture directly to the web so that everyone can see my them instantly. Over the last year I have found this ability to document my life with pictures really fulfilling.

So how was nearly three weeks away from social networking and how has it effected me? These are two questions I have been asking myself over the last couple of days. To tell you the truth, I am not sure if I have answer to either yet. I do know that after the first couple of days the need to be a apart of twitter, seesmic and the rest faded. I still plan a post later on this week to talk about how it effected my everyday and what has changed since the start. For now though, I want to give everyone a heads up that I will be returning X-mas eve day with a bunch of video, mostly seemic. I am going to turn the Twitter back on that day also.

Thanks to everyone that stayed in touch while I was disconnected.

This is simply the best piece of news I have read all week.

Some crazy scientists have taken fat from the body, combine it with a concentrate of stem cells and inject it into a boob. Guess what? They get bigger!! Thats right, it seems this new method, if all goes well, could become common place, like Botox. It will take about an hour and cost no more than conventional surgery to start. The company that has been testing it in Japan hopes to intruduce the therapy in Europe by 2008.

Looks like I am going to Europe next year.

I had been looking for a couple of months and Chuck finally found one at a local Game Stop. Since then we both have been playing the hell out of Wii Sports. So much so that Chuck actually pulled his back out a couple of weeks ago bowling. I have been lucky not to have any major injuries just a few mild aches and pains.

Last week I came across this article from Cnet about Wii Tennis, which is my favorite of the Wii sports games, and how you can really injure yourself. I think this could lead to a whole new field of sports medicine.

Read to articles over the last two days blaming cleanliness for one of the reasons 50 million people have allergies.

The jest of the story, we are so clean, ok some of us, or bodies have a hard time dealing with all the shit in the air. Western culture in particular has the highest rates of people with allergies. Our hypoallergenic lifestyle keeps our bodies from building up immunity to the various allergens in the world. This explains the sniffing, puffy eyed, excessive sneezing brain eating zombies roaming the streets.

You know what this means, there is no chance for you, but your kids. Think of it, no baths; throw food on the floor, track dirt into the house. It is a dream come true! Wait, doesn’t dirty equal unhealthy? That is just my western brain fucking with me again. Happy dirt!
God bless you..

On July 1st 2006 Colorado will join the other smoke free states in the Union. Well almost smoke free, the casinos and a few other rouge, well-funded establishments will still be able to kill us.

Now before you put on your party hats and pull out that Mink you have wanted to wear to the bar. It seems some bar owners have filed a law suit against the almighty state government. They claim the law is unconstitutional? They seem to think it is unfair having the government telling them what they can and cannot do in their private business. To this I say, their right! As a former smoker, you remember I smelled like shit all the time, I am all for helping the common man kick the habit. It has always struck me as odd, that the state can create a law making it illegal to do something that is already legal. It is especially concerning that while the act of burning one is legal, you as a citizen could be told where and when you can do it?

I think it comes down to this, no drinking on the streets, no gun waving in airports, no nakedness in church and no smoking in a bars/restaurants. This is the law, the people have spoken, or at least some legislators have voted. The end game is this, you will have to stand outside with all the other smokers, you know the ones hitting the crack pipe and burning a fatty.

It seems like every other day I am reading something new about how to remain healthy. Now I know this is the way of the world, but it annoys the shit out of me. One minute I am being told to take 10,000 milligrams of vitamin C, and then 10 seconds later I am told that much could kill me? Meat is good for you, no wait it can kill you. Milk is the devil, or it is god waiting to save you. It’s all so confusing.

Finally this morning some news from the UK that is worth the read. Fellow men of the world if this doesn’t make your Friday, I will send a hot Asian girl over to your house. It seems another study has been done to help convince not only our significant others but ourselves that drinking is indeed good for your body! I have been trying to stay clear of the devils drink this month, but it looks like I might have been misguided, again.

In honor of this study, and I realize it talks of moderation, I am going on 96-hour bender! Who’s with me!!

I think what the t-shirt industry is saying is, “Don’t worry you fat bastard, we can make a shirt as big as you can get”! Matter of fact, I just got off the phone with Chris and he has made me aware of his new line of clothes. I don’t want to spoil his big launch next month, but I think it has something to do with fat people thongs?
