I have installed the cool Qik live streaming App on my iPhone. What does this mean for you? Well you will get to watch me live from time to time. Most likely though you will be able to watch video I took live, days or hours ago. It is a really cool service and if you happen to catch me live you can chat in real time. Those of you who are looking for that perfect “always on” twitter/friendfeed application to follow all your very important friends on both services, good news. There is a bit of a battle going on for this space and there are a couple of different competitors. The two top dogs are Alert Thingy (my choice) and Twhirl which was recently bought by the kids at seesmic. Now if you have no idea what friendfeed and twitter are all about either go find out (links provided).
Ok so if you are like me and you have been looking for a small application to follow both streams, go now and download Alert Thingy. It runs on the adobe air platform and works on both MAC and PC. It is awesome and the newest version not only lets you follow both services but it gives you the ability to upload to Flickr as well. KICK ASS!! Let me know what you think.

In the front end of Cloverfield they have released a teaser trailer for the new Star Trek film. I have my whole body crossed that this director can save the franchise.
I forgot just how much I love this guy. Hard to believe he has been away nearly 7 months now. In honor of the writers strike he returns to give us some up close face time and his take on the strike. He even throws us a bit of news commentary. All hail Ze!
Hands down brilliant! I dont know what it is about British dudes who talk fast and display any sort of dry wit but it gets me in the funny bone. It is a bit long and may not be exciting to a non-gamer. Thanks CRB for the link!
Easily one of the best shows on the net right now. This is the first episode of season two and it is good to have them back. If by some strange chance you didnt see season one, I have provided a link. I am at a lose as to why these guys do not have a TV deal yet?
