Easily one of the best shows on the net right now. This is the first episode of season two and it is good to have them back. If by some strange chance you didnt see season one, I have provided a link. I am at a lose as to why these guys do not have a TV deal yet?

Here is what Jim looks like after 2 hours sleep and a night of drinking. This piece of video is from the last day of the PNME. I think a managed to take in about six hours of sleep in four days. It shows!

Last week Chuck and I attended the Podcast Media Expo in California. This is an annual event for podcast content creators. The goal or intended goal is for all of us to come together in one place and exchange ideas and information. I would like to report it was a success. At least for Chuck and I.

We boarded a plane for the sunny and somewhat smelly city of Ontario, CA on Thursday for what was to be another great adventure with our podcasting friends. We were returning to the conference this year having shed our newbie status of the previous year. On our way into the conference hall that same day, I commented to Chuck that it is was good to be back. Last year had been such a positive experience for us we had been looking forward to a repeat performance.

I am happy to say that it was indeed a success. There were of course a few differences from the previous year. Some good others mildly ungood? Attendance seemed to be lighter. I felt as if there fewer audio podcasters, much to my disappointment. Those kids crack me up. I really missed watching the Harry Potter audio casters berate the rest of the conference. That is just solid entertainment.

The conference floor also seemed a little light on content but still had enough to keep me walking around in circles seeing something new each time. Although that could have more to do with my inability to pay attention and less to do with floor content?

The strong point, the people. My ability to connect face to face with the countless people that I have exchange emails, calls and twits with is awesome. The added plus for me is how easy it is to meet and connect with new people all of which share some common interest. Those are the connections that start something unexpected.

Chuck and I and our fellowship of friends had an amazing time. Our reconnection with our old friends Brogan, Atwood, Rox, Garfield and our new friends Park, Stanberry, Witt, Pistachio and the rest. Reminded me just how import a good community of friends can be. We had a couple of really long nights that equated to little or no sleep. We talked new ideas, old ideas, collaboration and much more. We even had the chance to drink Mimosas with our feet in a hot tub at sunrise. Who says these New Media types dont know how to live. Now I guess we just need to find someone to pay us.

In the coming months the connections we made at the convention this year will strengthen. Some of the people we met will come with us on our journey. While others we will not see till next year. Last year we had the pleasure of meeting Chris Brogan and he has been with us ever since. Love that guy. Hopefully we have made new and lasting connection like that again this year.

Leave me a comment, let me know your thoughts on this years PNME.

Did I mention that someone was carry a pretty nasty sickness that spread like the black plague. Funny how every time I go to an event or conference either someone I know is sick or I end up getting sick. Just once I would like to be bug free.

With great disappointment and a little bit of confusion we have moved the Hands on Food site to a new address. http://www.handsonfood.tv

For those of you who have not seen the show, it is a cooking video podcast. I know, Hands on Food, clever! I had the pleasure of hosting this months episode and I think I did ok? Always fun trying something new. I was filling in for our regular host who is taking some time off. In the coming months we hope to have a couple of familiar hands do some cooking. I think Chuck is up next, watching him cook will be very entertaining to say the least. That and he has some really nice hands!

If you are interested in doing an episode of Hands on Food. Drop me an email.

Today marks the return of The Clip Show. We have been on a 2 month hiatus, drinking and hanging out with questionable women mostly. To mark this occasion we put on a live telethon show last Friday in an attempt to raise some much needed capital for the show. It went well and best of all we proved to ourselves we could produce a live show. That and we had a hell of a good time!

The Clip Show 51 is a recut of the origianl live version from last friday. It is a bit long at 1:07, but well worth your time. At one point Chuck is wearing a wig and playing a guitar. Priceless! We also launchde a new version of the website with some cool new features with many more to come in the months ahead.

Last but not least. We are still excepting donations. The donation button is located on the main page of our website, www.theclipshow.com.

Thanks again and check out The Clip Show new every Tuesday.

This week marks the return of Shauna to Scriggity. After a long hiatus, where in which she was replaced a couple of times, she has returned in a low key episode. When Shauna split with the show earlier this year, I thought it was the worst possible move. Her star was rising, in the podcast world, and the show was beginning to find its groove. Since that time the show has been struggling to finds its way back to the initial idea and success. Lets hope they can pick up where they left off. Maybe better yet they can start anew and dominate.
