I have been watching the Ninja from the beginning. I have even had the pleasure of meeting both the creators on a couple of different occasions. Thankfully I have never had a run in with the Ninja himself, I value my life. The last couple of episodes have not blown my skirt up and I was beginning to worry that maybe the magic was gone. I am glad to say it is far from over for the Ninja. This latest episode had me in tears! Enjoy and Happy Friday!

Today we posted the 50 episode of The Clip Show and next month marks our one year of podcasting. It is hard to believe we have been at it a year and even harder to believe we have produced 50 episodes! The last year of my life has been, hands down one of the best. I don’t think Chuck and I ever imagined how this would impact or lives. We have learned so much, come so far and only almost killed each other two or three times. It has been worth it and I am still glad we made the leap and didn’t fall on our faces.

The Clip Show will be on hiatus for a month and half. Chuck and I will be working on a new project, more on that later, during this break. Look for a special year episode to air sometime in the middle of July. As always the Cinema Psychic will continue with top notch reviews of whats new every friday in your local theater.

There are about a million small upstart “networks” pushing new media to the masses these days. If I had a couple of dollars, a handful of hot ladies and some computer smarts I would have my own network. Ok, so I have one of the three and it is not the ladies.

Next New Network (NNN), three n’s, cleaver! Is yet another upstart in the already over crowed field looking to put together a network of shows targeted to niche markets. Micro Televsion Networks (MTN) as described by NNN are one or more shows 3-11 minutes in length which air weekly or daily. Seems like I have heard this concept somewhere else? Where as the idea is far from new, TV, radio, blogs and my house, each of which have put content together for niche audiences, me. Next New’s main focus and goal seems to be about the personal experience of “new media”. You know the “interaction” with the audience that sets internet video apart from Television. Personally, I am all for it. The field is crowed and diverse and that is awesome. I welcome everyone and my hope is that startups like NNN, will do it right and succeed where others are currently failing.  There is a simple lesson that can be learned, and so far it appears NNN is paying attention.   I think if you have spent any time online looking at video on the net.  You know that 98% of the video out there, right now is complete shit. This of course is nothing new to people, most of us still watch TV. The bottom line is easy, or at least I think it is, provide quality content produced by top notch people and the viewers and the money will come. At least that is what I keep telling myself.

Things are moving right along for NNN, they recently launch 9 new MTN’s with our friends over at Veoh expanding to around 30 very soon. With this companies connections and background they should have no problem pushing Micro Television all over the interwebs.
