Space beer, yes you read the title right.  Some barley that was in space back in 2006 has found its way into some beer over at Sapporo.  Only 250 six packs were produced coming in at a whopping $110.  There is lottery for purchase and anyone can enter.   My only concern much like the grown pork meat is after drinking will I crave brains?

This is the second article I have read this year about grown meat.  It is only a few more years until this becomes common practice.  Two question remain for me – will it be lean and healthy and will it turn me into a zombie?

The end is near

Last week while installing some new solar panels on the International Space Station one of the key computers on board failed. Now when I say key, I mean the computer that heats, cools and steers the station in space. Thankfully the US Space Shuttle was docked to the station and fired its thrusters to keep the station in orbit. The computer failure has been sorted by the Russians, they built the thing, but all involved say there is a chance it could happen again.

The European Space Agency has real concern as they are deploying two components of the station this year that run off the same computer system. The Russians are working with the ESA to rectify this problem for the future. The fact of the matter is, according to the article linked below, that no matter what, as the station continues to grow these kind of problems will crop up.

Read to articles over the last two days blaming cleanliness for one of the reasons 50 million people have allergies.

The jest of the story, we are so clean, ok some of us, or bodies have a hard time dealing with all the shit in the air. Western culture in particular has the highest rates of people with allergies. Our hypoallergenic lifestyle keeps our bodies from building up immunity to the various allergens in the world. This explains the sniffing, puffy eyed, excessive sneezing brain eating zombies roaming the streets.

You know what this means, there is no chance for you, but your kids. Think of it, no baths; throw food on the floor, track dirt into the house. It is a dream come true! Wait, doesn’t dirty equal unhealthy? That is just my western brain fucking with me again. Happy dirt!

Told you they could grow new organs for you! Here is yet another articles talking about growing us human’s new organs. I know what you are thinking, finally I can drink all I want and when my liver fails, grow me a new one. I was thinking the same thing.
