Those of you who are looking for that perfect “always on” twitter/friendfeed application to follow all your very important friends on both services, good news. There is a bit of a battle going on for this space and there are a couple of different competitors. The two top dogs are Alert Thingy (my choice) and Twhirl which was recently bought by the kids at seesmic. Now if you have no idea what friendfeed and twitter are all about either go find out (links provided).
Ok so if you are like me and you have been looking for a small application to follow both streams, go now and download Alert Thingy. It runs on the adobe air platform and works on both MAC and PC. It is awesome and the newest version not only lets you follow both services but it gives you the ability to upload to Flickr as well. KICK ASS!! Let me know what you think.
Mahalo Daily, the show formally hosted by heavy weight Veronica Belmont is on the hunt for a new host. My friend Sarah Atwood is in the running and I think would be a great choice, if not the only choice. This show needs to be saved and she is just the girl to make it happen.
Have you seen Deltas new inflight video? It has been getting some press attention because the girl in the video (the narrator) is Chris Heiser hot. It is far to long at over 4 minutes and has a very scary end. I guess you have a captive audience and there is always someone on the plane who has no idea how to buckle a safety belt? Here is a cool little web site that has you answer a number of questions and then tells you which candidate you are most aligned with and farthest from. Surprisingly it made me an Obama man. Guess I better take that Hill Dog sticker off my car.
